On Phobias

A lot of people suffer from phobias: around 10% of Americans apparently. If you have a phobia, you have an irrational and excessive fear of an object or situation. Phobias can lead to panic attacks and are technically a mental illness. Ultimately, of course, they show how fragile the human mind really is.
